We hired a Fiat 500 hybrid and took a day trip to Lioni (province of Avellino, Naples), the home town of Lidia's father (Angelo.) We asked a local if we could find Angelo's first cousin Nanina, and after asking a few other locals we managed to find her. We FaceTimed Angelo with Nanina and they had a general chat together. The local (Antonetta) then showed us around Lioni, invited us back to her house for a 2 course lunch, then we went to a nearby large church San Gerardo.
Since Naples is the birthplace of pizza, we had a traditional pizza of course!
