We head out of Enna and into Lidia's mum home town of Valguarnera Caropepe. We located her mum's house that she grew up in before she came to Australia in the 1950s. We tried to find her one and only relative by asking a few locals but were unsuccessful locating him. We went into the nearby church, saw the view from the top of the hill, and found a Banksy on a garage door.
We then continue down south to Piazza Armerina where we walked through an excavated house that had a large number of mosaics on the walls and floors.
Our stop for the night was in Ragusa, where we had a room in our B&B with a balcony. Unfortunately, this room was unavailable so we were upgraded to a room with a small terrace. This view overlooked the old town of Ragusa, where we headed into town for some dinner.
