Today we start with a good Italian breakfast prepared by our host Domenico, at Villa Sara. We then climb approx 40 flights of stairs up to Castelmola. On the way we enjoy the stunning views and eat a prickly pair. We reach the small town of Castelmola and drink their famous almond wine Vino alla Mandorla. Then then climb down the steep roads back to our hotel only to find some rain and a thunderstorm had swept in. After a shot of limoncello, we head down to the main street of Taormina and ate a large cannoli. We head back up more flights of stairs and ate at a restaurant nearby our hotel.
