A busy day today in Siracusa and ancient town of Ortigia. We start off with the markets of Ortigia, then walk through some of the narrow streets until we reach the Temple of Apollo. We walk through Piazza del Duomo until we reach Castello Maniace - a 13th century military fort. This was also one of the filming locations for one of the Indiana Jones movies. We finish the day in Syracuse at the Neapolis Archaeological Park before we head back to our B&B at Noto.
